EULEMA Granted Participatory Status with the Council of Europe's Conference of INGOs

EULEMA admitted to the Conference of INGOs of the Council of Europe

The Committee of Ministers granted EULEMA official “Participatory Status” among the Conference of International Non-Governmental Organisations (CINGO) of the Council of Europe.

As the representative body of the INGOs enjoying participatory status with the Council of Europe, the Conference facilitates the participation of organised civil society in the work of the Council of Europe. It serves as a platform where civil society can interact with the Council of Europe. It promotes participatory democracy, active citizenship and freedom of association.

The decision was adopted by the Ministers’ Deputies at their 1559th meeting on 6 May 2026 (CM/Del/Dec(2026)1559/2.6), in accordance with Resolution CM/Res(2016)3 on the participatory status of international non-governmental organisations with the Council of Europe.
