Role & Institutional Position
Chair of the Muslim Council of Belgium (Conseil Musulman de Belgique), established in 2023 as the official representative body of Muslim communities in Belgium. In this capacity, she is a central interlocutor with Belgian federal and regional authorities on matters of religious recognition, education, and social cohesion.
EULEMA representative for Belgium and elected Board Member for 2026–2028.
European Engagement
Participant in the Article 17 TFEU high-level interreligious dialogue with the European institutions, presenting the perspectives of Belgian Muslims on economic solidarity, social justice, and interreligious cooperation. Confirmed participant in the EULEMA–EBU roundtable Buddhism meets Islam (Brussels, May 2026).
