In 1995 he graduated from the Budapest University of Economics (currently Corvinus University), Faculty of Economics, specialized in Economic theory. From 1991, he was a research assistant in GKI Economic Research Institute and then in GKI Economic Research Co. From 1995 to 2006, he worked for GKI GKI Economic Research Co. as a research manager. His major fields of research were GDP, insurance, pension funds and retail trade.

In 1993, he started to research Islam, since 1995 he has been a Muslim. He studied Islamic jurisprudence from well known scholars (theologians) in different countries of the Islamic world. In 2014, he earned a degree (the Higher Diploma) in Islamic studies in the Islamic Online University. He is a committed advocate of religious dialogue.

He is a founding member of the Organization of Muslims in Hungary, established in September 2000. Since 2001, he has been the President of the Organization of Muslims in Hungary and serves also as a religion teacher. He is a founding member of the Hungarian Muslims Rights Defending Association, set up in 2016.

His current research field is Islamic Economics. He is the author of articles and studies on Islamic economic systems and on solutions offered by Islam to contemporary problems. He is an editor of books in Hungarian on Islam, and a consultant and a supervisor of diploma theses dealing with Islam. He regularly represents Islam and the Hungarian Muslims on domestic and international forums.
